Senior Test Engineer Marseille Networks
Marseille Networks is looking for a qualified engineer to join its Software Engineering organization as a Senior Test Engineer. The Software Engineering group is responsible for creating advanced system solutions for leading edge products targeted for the consumer electronics market. We are looking for a motivated, self-managing excellent communicator looking for their next challenge.Responsibilities
Define and develop all test setup and environment
Define product test plan and procedure
Work closely with design engineers to assist with bring-up and integration
Perform product testing and QA for all product releases
Work with Marketing and Engineering to understand compliance requirements
Work with Marketing and Engineering to define certification test plan
Work with external test lab to ensure product will pass compliance certification
Qualifications
Previous hands-on experience with system level testing (HW/FPGA/SW)
Understanding of MPEG2 and H264 standards
Excellent knowledge of HDMI, HDCP, EDID, DP, and CEC
Audio experience is a plus
Familiar with testing, debug and support of designs through to customer acceptance
Skills
Experienced with HDMI/HDCP compliance
Experienced with all aspects of system level testing including but not limited to:
Integration testing
Error handling/recovery testing
Performance and Stress testing
Interoperability and Reliability testing
Experienced with scripting/Firmware/FPGA/Altera tools
Experienced with lab/test equipment
Experienced in Python test script development is highly desirable
Education
BS/MS or higher degree in Computer, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related degree with minimum of 10 year experience.
