Senior UI Developer Alkami Technologies
Are you a natural problem solver? Do you embrace challenges? Do you enjoy operating independently and wish to unleash your development prowess? Within a team of designers, business development and other developers, you?ll work in short iterations pairing with teammates to create rich internet applications.The UI Developer will be responsible for communicating with the business on requirements, working with design to flesh out UI specs, building out reusable and semantic HTML/CSS and JavaScript, implementing refactoring regimes and staying up to date with new technologies. This individual should have knowledge of UX and development best practices and be able to write elegant, efficient code. You will be provided with a Macbook Pro and any applications you need to work efficiently.
Requirements
At least 3 years of experience developing JavaScript and Web 2.0 applications and sites, including demonstrable examples of public Web sites or applications illustrating significant work product
Software architecture design experience
Experience writing applications that work well across desktop browsers and mobile devices
Advanced knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JSON and AJAX
Experience with leading JavaScript frameworks (jQuery, ExtJS, etc.)
Working knowledge of source control / SCM tools (git, TFS, etc)
Excellent coding and documentation practices
Desired Skills
Rich interactive client development experience
Strong knowledge of MVC and object-oriented design patterns
Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues
Experience developing interfaces where user experience was a key focus
Experience with HTML5 and CSS3 application development
Experience using an Agile development methodology
SQL Server or other database experience
Understanding of HTTP, HTTPS, OAUTH and other key protocols underpinning the Web
Experience using SOAP and RESTful web services
Understanding of scalable design principles
