Senior User Experience Designer Zilliant

Description:
Zilliant is expanding our world-class product development organization. We are looking for a highly skilled and creative individual to join our user experience team. This individual should possess senior-level user experience design skills with an exceptionally strong background and formal training in user interface design, graphic design and/or human-computer interaction (HCI). As a User Experience Designer for the Margin Insight team, you will deliver powerful analytics as concise user flows for user interfaces that span desktop, web, and mobile devices. This high profile position offers opportunities to design suite-wide user interactions, information architecture, and data visualization to provide business intelligence solutions for medium and large businesses.

Major Roles and Responsibilities:

- Provide user interface designs for the Zilliant Margin Insight application
- Provide user interface designs across rich-client, web, and mobile computing devices
- Iterate with Product Management on requirements gathering and design process
- Consult with Architects and Engineers on design and implementation
- Develop and maintain a User Experience Standards guide for use by the development organization
- Develop wireframes and other design artifacts using Visio or other tools
- Design and maintain the application's look and feel through full-color mockups, asset creation, and UI reviews
- Develop conceptual software prototypes/mockups using HTML, Photoshop, and other tools
- Lead/participate in user research, concept testing, and usability testing
- Collaborate effectively with the other members of the User Experience team

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Factors, Graphic Design, Industrial Design or related field
- 5+ years experience as an User Experience Designer (or similar role)
- Strong background and formal training in user interface design, graphic design and/or human-computer interaction (HCI)
- Expertise in Web/UI design tools and techniques (Adobe Creative Suite, Dreamweaver, Visio, HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Expertise in principles of Web site and application GUI design
- Experience collaborating with technical teams
- Strong leadership skills with passionate advocacy for the end-user
- Creative problem solver with strong attention to detail
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Candidate should provide User Interface samples demonstrating past experience
