This role offers the unique opportunity to design new products and tools for our network of brands and retailers. You?ll be discovering and designing new ways for brand users to interact and reach their global audience across the network. You will be the founding member of the New York design team, with the support of an established Austin design team.
Who We Want:
? Lead the design of products from brainstorming concepts to launch. Use your interaction design and technical skills to create successful products for half a billion monthly visitors across thousands of clients.
? Represent endusers in a product discovery leadership team. Organize user research into root problems, facilitate brainstorms, and help the team determine which ideas are worth further exploration. Utilize our dedicated user research program user studies and testing.
? Own interaction design. Have the technical prowess to produce interactive user prototypes. Assess what level of fidelity is required for the task at hand, from driving for a user study to communicating your design to a developer. Work with developers to produce live data prototypes when necessary and identify which metrics are critical.
? Love UX. Deliver insights about our users to internal and external stakeholders. Share prototypes with leadership and clients, and get everyone fired up about concepts. Take pride in your success, and share your enthusiasm for UX with everyone around you.
Skills and Experience Necessary for the Role:
? You are an active collaborator, self-motivated, and self-directing. You enjoy working with a small team of smart, energetic people like yourself. You inspire and influence each of the teams around you.
? You have an exceptional knack for interaction design. User research, feedback, and iteration are critical to your process.
? Your visual design skills are solid, and you are inspired by beautiful designs you experience in everyday life.
? You have experience designing complex interactions and applications.
