eHarmony is looking for an exceptionally talented Senior UX/Visual Designer with deep interactive experience and a well-rounded design background. As a Senior UX Designer you will touch all areas of our product â desktop, iPhone, iPad, Android, and Mobile Web. Frankly, weâre everywhere, and pride ourselves in building the best experiences in our industry. We really care about the user experience because ultimately, what we build helps people start the most amazing relationships of their lives.

This role is VERY hands on - requiring you to collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Marketing to help drive the creation of beautiful experiences that delight our customers. You have to be good at communicating your vision and then driving to an ultimate decision. The design team is a small, cohesive unit at eHarmony. We all really like each other, challenge each other, and move fast. This role reports into the VP of Product.
Finally, weâre looking for someone with a proven track record of interactive design and hands on experience building cool experiences from inception to launch. Itâs also a plus if youâve already got some mobile experience.

Duties:
- Design user interfaces based on wireframes and product requirements.
- Work collaboratively with product managers, designers and engineering.
- Inspire and challenge the other members of the design team
- Strive for simplicity while always thinking about ways to insert âheartâ into your work
- Bachelorâs degree in graphic design, a related field or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years interactive design for consumer products (Web and/or Mobile)
- Product development experience, preferably in an agile environment
- Adobe CS software
- A dry wit
- An awesome portfolio
- Experience designing interfaces for desktop software.
- Passion for making a meaningful impact on peopleâs lives.
- Understanding of web standards and mobile UI design patterns.
