Senior User Experience Designer LeadPages
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED You probably haven?t worked with anyone like us before. We're a Minneapolis / St. Paul, MN based startup that's changing the way businesses do marketing, lead generation, and conversion rate optimization online. With a growing team that works closely together, we move fast and enjoy what we do. Launched in January of 2013, we now have over 15,000 customers.
Come join the fun and build something big with us.
Are you great at helping create products that people love to use? We?re in the habit of enhancing the design of our web solutions at every opportunity and we need your help make it happen! You'll work with the Marketing and Product teams to conceptualize and design original ideas that bring simplicity and ease of use to our product, ultimately creating beautiful interfaces that meet the needs of our users around the world. If you can make us look sharp and are a pleasure to work with, you?re in!
So here?s the deal...
In just over a year, and with a very small team and few resources, LeadPages has generated millions in revenue and has released game changing innovations; we're the first company to apply "big data" approaches and "network effect" thinking to post-click marketing (don't worry if you don't understand what this means: we'll explain it during our interview).
We are (humbly) considered a thought leader in our space because we precisely skated to where the puck was going before anyone else left the bench.
Thanks to visionary leadership, our dedicated team, and a truly astonishing road map, LeadPages? growth potential is huge.
The last 12 months have been amazing, our product?s impact is swelling and the LeadPages? ground floor is practically quaking.
To accelerate our growth, LeadPages just raised a Series A round of funding from some of the best and most well-known early stay venture capitalists in the world. We're doubling the size of our team and we're going to lock in our leadership position over the next 12-18 months.
Now, our small-but-fantastic team needs a stellar User Experience Designer
To love this role, here?s the type of person you are:
The thought of using your product design skills to make a profound impact on an industry-leading product makes you jump up and down.

You know what makes great experience and you are able to explain what makes it great and how to turn bad experience into the good one.
You are able to get into the customer?s perspective and evaluate different points of view and explain why something might work for someone but not for someone else and how to find ideal solution for particular problem.
Critical discussion about structure and organisation of UI elements and steps, whether it's your work or that of your colleagues, is always fun and you love asking really tough questions.
You're always looking for ways to create simplicity out of complexity.
You are able to defend your decisions yet be flexible enough to consider other alternatives.
You work well with Developers and partner well to get amazing results.
You enjoy polishing your work as much as you enjoy releasing and then iterating on them.
You have a unique combination of skills, talents, and mindset, including:
