EMN8 is a world class provider of self-service ordering solutions for the restaurant industry. Our customers include Arby?s, Burger King, Carl?s Jr., Domino's, Hardee?s, Jack in the Box, The Counter and YUM International.
A great opportunity exists for a User Interface Designer (3+ years exp) with a strong understanding of UI/UX principles. Ideally looking for a versatile designer with some print experience but an emphasis on web and consumer facing applications. Touch interface experience is a big plus.
Duties & Responsibilities
Work as part of Creative Services team
Creating and executing top-notch designs, page layouts and UI concepts
Work closely with the Customer, Product Manager, Account Manager, and development team to execute the design
Completes projects by coordinating with outside agencies, art services, printers, etc.
Understanding of and experience in branding
Strong and diverse design style
Illustrates concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style
Required Skills & Qualifications
5+ years of graphic artist experience
Experience with interaction design, especially with touch interfaces (Mobile or Kiosk)
Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks)
Strong conceptual skills, including online and mobile/tablet experience concepts
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
E-Commerce experience
After Effects (or other motion exp.)
Agency experience (organized, process knowledge, working with deadlines and with multiple clients)
Ability to take feedback from/ give feedback to team members
Extraordinary attention to detail
This position is 40% production and 60% creative and requires a detail-oriented person with the ability to multi-task and work as part of a team. Familiar with After Effects and interested in growing skills and getting exposure in animation area is a plus.
