What we're looking for:
We?re looking for a Senior UX Designer to work with our product team and UI team on the design of new features and improving the overall usability and user experience our product.
A Design Guru - You understand best practices inside and out but have the critical thinking skills to know when it?s time to ditch them in favor of something unorthodox; in other words, you know the rules and know when to break them.
Focused on the Enterprise - You are experienced with Enterprise or B2B products. You understand that Business Users are just "consumers at work", yet you empathize with the administrative roles and "the champion" of your product within the business and are able to help them achieve their goals.
Data Inspired - You love data to help you understand WHAT is happening in the product, and use it as a starting point to hypothesize WHY users behave the way they do and HOW you can improve certain metrics. You have a strong understanding of statistics (central tendency, validity, reliability, significance, confidence, etc.)
A Sharer of Knowledge - You enjoy sharing what you know with others and helping to shape the culture of the company by contributing your ideas. You don?t hoard knowledge, you love to teach people to think like a UX designer.
A Team Player - You love working with others because you realize that ?none of us are as smart as all of us? (part of the Bloomfire Manifesto)
Work with the Product Management and others to shape the product strategy.
Create wireframes from product requirements.
Create prototypes to validate concepts, and conduct user tests.
Oversee and influence the UI and Interaction design.
Present designs and communicate rationale behind design decisions to others on the team.
Understand how users use our product and relate that to the business.
Work on increasing engagement metrics, and try to reduce churn.
Design for the web using RWD principles.
