Senior Vice President, Product Luxury Link

This position reports to the CEO and is a key member of the executive team, with significant interaction with customers, current and potential partners, and all internal teams.
As the SVP of Product at Luxury Link Travel Group:
You have experience with and understand the rapidly evolving eco-system of the online luxury travel market. You have strong opinions on how the eco-system will evolve and what the winners will need to do to succeed. You?re known for defending and pitching those opinions with facts, passion, and reason, and you thrive in an environment where all ideas are considered and analyzed, decisions are made, and the team pulls together behind those decisions.
You have strong expertise with media, lead generation and e-commerce business models.
You have demonstrated a deep understanding of product management: owning and communicating the product vision; developing and communicating overall product strategies; decoding the market to develop the needed product roadmaps; synthesizing requirements from multiple constituencies; and then delivering product definitions, designs, and development plans that meet and/or anticipate the needs of the market.
You have developed and executed cross-functional programs across Engineering, Sales, Marketing and BD that deliver on product roadmaps with a strong track record for ?on time and complete? and accomplishing business objectives.
You have worked with senior executives and Boards to communicate product strategies and roadmaps, gaining buy-in through your abilities to persuade, influence, and, ultimately, build confidence based on successful execution.
Responsibilities
You will:
Play a leadership role in developing and communicating the Luxury Link Travel Group product vision, strategy, and roadmaps to deliver tangible value to consumers, hoteliers, and advertisers.
Lead and develop the content strategy for Luxury Link Travel Group properties.
Prepare product requirements and specifications in a collaborative, iterative process ? define how the services evolve.
Manage the prioritization process for Engineering, synthesizing requirements, business cases, and prioritizations cross-functionally.
Lead all aspects of product delivery, including business cases, positioning, sales, marketing, launch and evangelization.
Be seen as ?the expert? on product issues, with the charisma and communications skills to persuade others of the quality and strength of the vision.
Qualifications
As a product management professional, you have 10+ years of experience in relevant executive and/or product management positions and environments.
You have at least 5 years of experience in e-commerce, with domain expertise in Travel.
You must be able to demonstrate multiple successful deliveries of complete product cycles, from conception to in-market with tangible results.
You need to be able to show product strategies and roadmaps that you have owned and built upon.
You have successfully launched and managed international expansion with scarce resources.
Experience in a start-up environment is a plus.
You have a P&L mindset and are creative when appropriate, but analytic in execution.
You are relentlessly focused on delivery, and understand the value of getting products out the door so we can learn and modify as we move forward.
You have a bachelor?s degree and a MBA is preferred but not necessary if you are able to demonstrate past successes.
