We are looking for senior interface designers with a solid web design portfolio, a strong sense of creativity, and a desire to make a meaningful difference. You will integrate with the development and user experience teams to deliver post-web 2.0 experiences.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Render visually stunning interface designs for style reviews and product prototyping.
Collaborate directly with expert developers to ensure design is properly applied to the product.
Create innovative solutions to stubborn interface challenges.
Develop design patterns for reuse and consistency.
Interact directly with stakeholders and customers to inform your designs.
Inject design processes into agile development cycles.
Render production assets from approved designs.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
4+ years hands-on experience in User Interface and User Experience Design, Information Architecture, Web Design, Graphic Design, or related fields.
Ability to communicate visual design recommendations to both peers and company leaders.
Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite applications including Photoshop and Illustrator and at least one wireframe application such as Omnigraffle or Balsamiq.
Expert level Photoshop skills; working knowledge of HTML and CSS.
Strong conceptual understanding of current online technologies and the principles of web design, HTML, and scalable dynamic GUIs; technical understanding a plus.
Up-to-date on best practices for UI design and usability.
Strong familiarity with the process of creating digital properties from conception and wire-framing to hi-fidelity design comps to collect initial user feedback.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor?s degree or equivalent work experience
