Exclusive Resorts is seeking a Senior Web Applications Developer. The Senior Web Applications Developer will provide key contributions to the development of primarily web-based solutions, including defining architecture, analyzing requirements, envisioning and evaluating solution alternatives, developing applications and finally implementing the solution. The successful candidate is expected to consistently produce reliable, scalable, high-performing technology solutions using modern design and development patterns. The Senior Web Applications Developer will be part of strong and tightly-knit development group collaborating, influencing, and growing your technical and domain expertise working with internal customers and key business stakeholders.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design and implement new web-based solutions.
Enhance existing applications.
Produce solutions that are reliable, scalable and high-performance.
Identify and evaluate solution alternatives.
Mentor more junior team members.
Collaborate with business analysts and key business stakeholders.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong passion for technology, specifically software development
Proven experience as a lead developer
5+ Years of hands-on web development
3+ Years of experience with C# language and ASP.NET -- must be proficient with the entire .NET web development stack
Working knowledge of associated platforms and technologies, including Windows Server and IIS
Proficiency with HTML/XHTML, CSS, JavaScript and JQuery
Knowledge of modern design and development patterns
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Proficient with relational database design and development (preferably using MS SQL Server)
Sound object oriented design skills and knowledge of application architecture patterns
Ability and desire to thrive in an agile environment, including pair programming
Experience developing solutions with the MVC pattern (preference for ASP.NET MVC knowledge)
Experience with test-driven development and related frameworks (such as NUnit, MS Unit Test)
Experience with agile methodologies such as SCRUM and/or XP
