Job Description:We?re looking to add a talented engineer that can help create and maintain web applications and web services for our communication platform.
As the Senior Web Applications Developer you will be responsible for:
Building web-based communication applications.
Integrating our platform with other services such as social networks and billing providers.
The full development life-cycle, working on features, performance and overall quality.
Acting as part of the product development team as we subscribe to the Scrum development process.
Time spent in PHP (Zend) and JavaScript (JQuery).
Required qualifications:
Received a BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent
5-10 years of success in Web Applications Development
Demonstrated a proficiency with JQuery, JSON, XML, REST, and Web-Services
Shown an ability to design and articulate great solutions
Possess strong UI sensibilities with extensive attention to detail
Shipped commercial products from inception to production
Acquired a solid understanding of application development using PHP and mysql or Postgresql backend and MVC frameworks
Preferred Skills:
Mastered cross-browser challenges and security concerns
Been a significant member of a great team that collaborated well and had great communication
