The Web Content engineer will conceptualize new methods of displaying and presenting content to users across various platforms and websites. You will also be responsible for restructuring the website and coaching authors on SEO best practices.
Qualifications:
Website Programming: PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, jQuery, WordPress and general LAMP web server architecture and maintenance. Experience with RSS, JSON & XML API programming is a plus.
Web Design: Strong photoshop skills and the ability to mockup an interactive website from scratch. Best Practices: Experience with version control systems and staging
SEO: Understanding of search engine marketing best practices
Website Optimization:CDN, database caching, front-end optimization experience and knowledge of best practices
Search and Social Marketing: An understanding of social media and search marketing
Blogging: Experience building and maintaining a successful Blog and/or working within a successful publishing online platform is a huge plus.
Actionable Analytics: Experience using analytics tools to make informed decisions and measure/report on performance.
