The successful candidate will work together with a talented and motivated team of visual designers to create fluid e-commerce solutions and effective interactive experiences. We are looking for a top-notch designer who can push the limits of design, think outside of the box, and have a solid understanding of user experience.
The Senior Web Designer will help define new site designs, site frameworks, e-commece concepts, shopping tools, and user experience. They will be responsible in the creative process from original concepts to final implementation. The Interactive Creative team collaborates with all marketing channels, product, and technology.
Responsibilities:
Design visually attractive interfaces and web pages based on principles of design and usability, support marketing initiatives with promotions, banners and various creative collateral
Help to define our visual language in the form of design, framework, ecommerce concepts and shopping tools
Look for ways to evolve the user experience in the form of smart design solutions and new user interactions
Work collaboratively with UI designer, developers, and programmers to ensure design concepts are delivered according to concept
Create fluid e-commerce initiatives and assist with the creative process from original concepts to final implementation
Qualifications:
Bachelor?s degree or equivalent in graphic design or web design
5-7 years experience in graphic/interactive design
Strong talent for all elements of design, layout and typography
Have a love of detail oriented work
Superior knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
Experience with Flash and Dreamweaver a plus
Have a strong understanding of latest web technologies and their capabilities
Fundamental understanding of GUI design and intuitive navigation schemes
Strong time management, communication, and interpersonal skills
Experience with IA
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and to keep abreast of innovative design trends and technologies
Passion for fine food, wines, arts, culture and city life
