Senior Web Developer Centrify
A balanced combination of technical acumen and business analysis will be the key to thriving as Centrify?s senior web developer. You?ll be part of a great team, including a business systems architect and programmer, plus web developers who are supporting day-to-day projects. As the chief developer for centrify.com, you?ll drive the roadmap for improvements in our underlying development platform, while continuing to support day-to-day updates and projects. As a member of the Centrify Marketing team, you?ll construct your priorities, requirements and solutions by working with a variety of stakeholders not only from Marketing but Support, Sales, Services, IT and Finance. You?ll be skilled at working in a fast-paced, multi-project environment, and bring a pragmatic approach to setting priorities. In addition to examples of your coding and programming work, you?ll need excellent references who can attest to your ability to gather requirements and communicate business-driven solutions.
Own and develop our underlying CMS-like template engine and formulate a plan to modernize the platform and extend updates to business owners. Short-term this includes (1) defining forward-looking coding standards for HTML/CSS with web standards and responsive web design in mind and (2) optimizing or replacing XML/XSL-managed content. Long-term this may include migrating to a formal CMS solution.
Own and develop the web management strategy for standing up and maintaining localized web sites.
Contribute to development of our next-gen partner portals and sales-enablement portals leveraging the web platform.
Work closely with the business systems architect to further optimize and expand integration points with backend systems, including Lithium, Marketo, Salesforce CRM, Salesforce Sites, Sharepoint, and our own cloud service.
Develop tools and document procedures and standards for the web developers who are doing day-to-day updates.
Drive integration of our Support portal on the Salesforce platform with our website. Manage product-to-website integrations, including product delivery/download services, and work with stakeholders in Support, Product Management, and Engineering to transition business and technical ownership of these services.
Pitch in with web developers during big product launches and mentor web developers.
3-5 years of continuous, hands-on experience developing web projects for a large-scale B2B website.
Complete technical mastery of HTML5/CSS3 coding standards and practices, including experience with mobile and responsive design.
Experience with a non-consumer CMS system such as Alfresco, Drupal, Joomla, or Umbraco.
Experience with at least one server-side language, preferably ASP.Net. Experience with classic ASP or willingness to learn is essential.
Experience with XML-driven content management and advanced use of XSLs with conditional logic.
Nice to haves: Experience with C#, the Salesforce API, the Marketo API, Sharepoint, and Lithium.
3?5 years of experience working collaboratively with technical and business stakeholders, including technical architects, web developers, designers and business stakeholders from marketing, IT, support, etc.
Excellent communication skills.
Excellent project management skills, including experience researching requirements and communicating plans and timelines.
Ability to juggle multiple projects, prioritize and make pragmatic, step-by-step progress in a fast-paced environment.
Nice-to-have: startup experience.
