Shutterfly, an established and growing e-commerce provider of high quality photo books, gifts, cards and stationery, is seeking an SEO Analyst to assist with multiple critical projects for the company?s rapidly growing in-house SEO team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on traffic and revenue at a values-driven company whose mission is to make the world a better place by sharing life?s joy. The position reports to the Senior SEO Manager and will collaborate with the Social Media teams.The SEO Analyst will work to improve natural search rankings and traffic through link discovery and development, social media and content syndication. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, personable and comfortable with outreach and relationship building. In addition, a passion or genuine curiosity for the practice of search engine optimization is desired.
Qualifications & Characteristics:
Strong attention to detail and extremely organized
Familiarity with HTML and ability to read HTML code
Knowledge of online marketing, blogging and blog platforms
Experience working with bloggers
Social media knowledge ? Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, etc.
Knowledge and past experience with SEO tools
Proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and meet weekly deadlines
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
Have a positive attitude
Prior experience at a start-up or e-commerce company is a plus
