The ideal candidate has proven Search Engine Optimization experience and a familiarity with SEO trends and requirements. This includes keyword generation, site architecture, optimized content, link building, etc?Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities include:
Implement, monitor, and continue developing GSN?s SEO strategy
Develop strategy for first page rankings through optimization among search engines
Find opportunities to acquire new users through optimization for new queries
Create large-scale content strategies to respond to and anticipate search engine algorithm changes
Leverage reporting tools to define SEO KPI?s and report on performance
Develop organic inbound links through creative and effective link- building strategies
Partner with GSN?s product team and designers to refine the most important pages on GSN.com
Job Qualifications:
Technical understanding of search engine optimization and how it relates to SEO
Experience identifying indexing problems, semantic markup, and URL migration
Experience building self-sustaining site architecture that's optimized for organic link building
Ability to develop long term SEO strategy and help lead plans with product, creative and development team
Self motivator and strong communicator ? both written and verbal
Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred but not required
