Job Description:As Server Engineer, you will work with team of high caliber engineers, build the elastic data platform in the cloud. Our data platform is composed by cutting edge technology stack related to data storage, middleware, search, data mining and distributed system.

Responsibilities:
Architect, engineer, test, document and deploy extremely high-volume, fault-tolerant, scalable backend systems that process and manage petabytes of customer data
Work with Product Management to understand, design,and implement core features and customer-driven enhancements
Work as a member of a team, helping the team respond quickly and effectively to business needs
Experience and Skills:
Passionate about technologies and delivering exceptional piece of software
Expert level proficiency in Object-oriented programming languages, for example in Java, Scala, or C++
In depth understanding of middleware technologies, availability, scalability, multi-thread and distributed system
Excellent written/oral communication skills
5+ years of experience
Advanced degree in computer science and engineering (or equivalent)
Desirable:
Experience in multi-threaded programming and distributed systems
Experience in big data and/or 24x7 commercial service
Experience in working with Unix (Linux, OS X)
Agile software development experience (test-driven development, iterative and incremental development)
Experience developing and extending modern build-chain tools, such as Maven, Jenkins, Git
Experience with Hadoop internals, HBase, Hive; Hadoop committer a big plus
Knowledge of BI reporting solutions highly desirable
Expert knowledge of SQL (MySQL preferred)
Expertise around database programming and performance tuning techniques
Expertise managing, extracting, and loading data from source databases such as MySQL, Postgress, Oracle, or SQL Server
