Responsibilities:Server Engineer
Help build the most scalable, most secure backend for the local and mobile merchant data.

Skills and Requirements
A love for software engineering and well-tested, maintainable code
and systems. This is tempered with an attitude that the perfect is the
enemy of the good.
A strong work ethic and ability to work on aggressive deadlines.
Expert-level Java development skills, or a willingness to learn. We
use and love Java, warts and all. We shun overgrown frameworks that
you'll often find in Java shops; we prefer building our own minimalist
toolkits. More Netty and Guava, less JBoss and Spring.
Strong knowledge of and affinity for relational databases. Normalized data and transactions are your friends. We happen to use Percona MySQL.
JSON-based RESTful services are nice. We built our own handler API
on top of a Netty-based web server.
Solid knowledge of Linux, networks, web proxies, caches, security-- all the typical tools of the trade.
