DescriptionResponsibilities:Provision Integra voice and network equipment in preparation for activation of customer facing services. NOTE: After hours work will be required.
? Work with project management, voice and data vendors, and field service personnel to activate new services.
? Participate in the development of procedures and best practices.
? Provide technical assistance and support to other provisioning teams.
? After hours work will be required.
? Test new circuits and coordinate repair activity with the LEC.
? Open Trouble Tickets with other telecom companies and track to resolution.
? Notate and document work completed in Order and Trouble Ticket notes.
RequirementsMin Required Skills:
? 5+ year?s experience provisioning and activating DSO/DSL and T-1 services.
? Working in routers, DACS, Muxes, multiple switching platforms and creating scripts for Integrated Access Devices (IADs).
The following Experience is a PLUS:
? Deploying and troubleshooting VPN services a plus.
? Porting phone numbers in either SOA or NPAC.
? Provisioning and activating services on Optical Systems a plus.
