DescriptionService Activation Technician needed for established Voice, Data and Internet Service Provider in beautiful Billings Montana. We need a career minded, self-reliant and self-motivated individual that can according to information provided on the service order and customer consultation worksheet, provision the UNIFi Hosted IP Telephony platform supporting customer dial plan applications scripting, moves, adds, and changes. Including lead responsibilities for simple and complex repair and troubleshooting support. Exceptional customer service and interpersonal characteristics a must to interact with customers, vendors and partner?s.RequirementsRequired Skills:
?Must have extensive knowledge of applications use and basic construct, structured trouble shooting procedures, and the interpretation of scripted code.
?Must be proficient working within and using Microsoft OS, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Visual Studio, Unix, Linux, Perl/Python(or other scripting languages), and SQL.
?Lead in the resolution of complex customer trouble tickets including feature and phone troubles.
?Effective time management and multi-tasking skills
Preferred Skills:
