DESCRIPTIONWe are seeking a disciplined service engineer to repair revolutionary protein analysis instruments. You will be a key member of a team responsible for all repair activities. This includes the entire process of receiving, repairing, documenting and returning units to customers. The ideal candidate will be technically savvy, capable of learning instrument repair with limited training, as well as organized and self-motivated.
QUALIFICATIONS
Work experience requirements:
Capable of establishing and managing entire repair function This includes developing new processes as necessary to support Customer Care department in servicing customers
Ability to diagnose and independently repair complex electro-mechanical equipment
Ability to prepare samples for instrument testing required
Works independently with minimal direct supervision
Ability to travel as necessary - possible travel as high as 5%
Experience lab chemistry and / or biology desired
2+ years of experience in a life science field
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors degree in an engineering field, or applicable experience
