The Clearedge Power Worldwide Service and Support organization is a growing group responsible for customer support, spare parts management, service engineering, service contract execution and field service of PureCell fuel cells.
The team takes full responsibility for customer sites after completion of powerplant commissioning and interacts directly with customers throughout the life of the fielded products
The successful candidate will support the worldwide PureCell fleet by working with the service team to troubleshoot field problems, optimize powerplant and site thermal integration performance, predict failures, create service manuals and implement product improvements in both new designs and existing hardware.
Specific job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, managing and analyzing field generated data to predict potential failures, designing and implementing automated data analysis systems, developing prognostic and diagnostic systems and identifying product design changes that increase product safety and reliability.
This position is an excellent entry point into Clearedge Power to gain working knowledge of low emission, green power products and systems. The Aftermarket Services Team is also a perfect starting point for a candidate interested in joining an industry-leader in green technology.
B.S. in Engineering discipline with 3-5 years minimum experience; M.S. or MBA a plus
Dedicated to making a significant contribution to environmental sustainability
Professional self-starter with strong leadership and communication skills who has experience working effectively within multi-disciplinary teams
Certified Energy Manager (CEM) and Certified Building Commissioning Professional (CBCP) is beneficial, but not required
Mechanical, thermal and electrical systems and mechanical design experience is beneficial
Fuel cell or green technology experience a plus, but not required
Understanding of continuous improvement fundamentals (ACE, Six Sigma, etc)
Phosphoric acid fuel cell experience a plus, but not required
Familiarity with any power plant monitoring tools (RADAR, Rockwell RDT/LDT, Oracle Viewer, ALC web CTRL) a plus, but not required
Limited domestic travel required (>5%)
