We have immediate opportunities for Service Managers in San Jose, CA.
The Service Manager (SM) supports project delivery for the Professional Services (PS) team to complete. This position invloves ongoing communication with internal and external resources, project document management, contractor review and approval, project cost review, A/P and A/R audit and processing, and verification of correct data entry into company CRM system(s).
Essential Duties / Responsibilities:
Manages day-to-day client interaction, and sets/manages client expectations.
Effectively applies project methodology and enforces standards.
Maintains accurate schedules of projects and communicates timeline concerns and issues as they arise to the appropriate teams (FusionStorm Engineering Management and Customer Contacts) to assist in revising the schedule.
Communicates and coordinates with Vendors and outside Solution Providers to set timelines minimizing exposure and project risks.
Maintains regular contact with all appropriate parties, which include:
Professional Services Resources and Management
Customer contacts, and as needed,
Account Executives and Managed Services.
Finance
Maintains a list of Job Change Orders (JCOs) for the project as needed to meet changing needs/requirements and updates the work-flow documentation and NetSuite accordingly.
Continually seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships.
Processes billings per the SOW against the project for monitoring and reporting to appropriate FusionStorm Management.
Ensures project and documents are complete, signed, current, and properly stored.
Requests and tracks vendor purchase orders
Reconciliation of vendor invoices
Audits invoices against original quote
Prepares invoices for finance action
Tracks vendor invoices and purchase orders
Prepares for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures.
Accurately forecasts revenue, profitability, margins and bill rates.
Understand and abide by all security and operational polices
Other duties as assigned.
Essential Education / Experience:
3+ years experience with hands-on Project Coordination in the IT, networking, security, storage or telecommunications industry.
Familiarity with technical concepts, terms and practices used in the deployment of IT, networking, security, voice-over-IP, wireless and other emerging technologies.
Familiarity with project management processes such as ITIL and PMI are desired, but not required.
Familiarity with FusionStorms capabilities.
