Services Software Engineer GetWellNetwork

GetWellNetwork is seeking a talented and enthusiastic java developer with experience in HL7 and/or web services to join our Client Innovation Team. In this role, you will work with our hospital clients and industry partners to design and develop innovative technical solutions to healthcare business needs. This position requires a balance of technical knowledge, business savvy, ingenuity and the ability to solve problems outside the candidate?s core area of expertise.

Responsibilities:

Provide technical and functional expertise to internal and external clients.
Design innovative and compelling solutions by applying knowledge of GetWellNetwork product, web technology and industry best practices.
Develop and customize GetWellNetwork applications for client and/or partner initiatives.
Follow up and monitor initiatives to ensure success.
Deliver quality work on time according to project plan.
Provide feedback to Product Management and Product Development teams on client requests, product usage and usability, and general enhancement opportunities.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

2+ years on-the-job Java development experience.
J2EE ? JMS, JNDI, Servlets, JSP, Hibernate framework, Design Patterns.
Web Services - SOAP, REST, Industry Standards & Best Practices.
Database - MySQL , strong SQL skills preferred.
Web - JSON, XML, XSLT, HTML, Javascript/Ajax (CSS and jQuery a plus).
HL7 or healthcare industry experience a plus.
Agile and iterative development methodologies.
Demonstrated strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
Self motivated team player with strong inter-personal skills with demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience in consulting or customer service a plus.
