Job Description :
The SGRP Coordinator is the Owner?s Representative and is responsible for the oversight of the performance of Contractor work activities. The SGRP Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and coordinating with the Contractor Supervisors and Lead Supervisors for allocation of craft resources. The SGRP Coordinator is the primary interface between the contractor and the Xcel project team. The SGRP Coordinator is responsible for monitoring safety performance to ensure that contractor maintains a safe environment to work.
The SGRP Coordinator reports directly to the Implementation Manager.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Safety
Oversee implementation of the Contractor Industrial Safety Program and Xcel Radiation Protection Program.
Conducts safety tours each shift and reviews and ensures resolution of any safety concerns.

Quality
Oversees contractor work to ensure that all work is performed in accordance with applicable Procedures and Work Package instructions.
Ensures the Responsible Contractor Supervision signs off the Work Instructions and promptly closes Work Order Tasks when work is completed.
Participates in resolution of Xcel Corrective Action Program (CAPs)

Work Implementation
Performs constructability reviews of Design and Implementation output including Work Packages, Engineering Change Packages, Specifications, and Drawings.
Provides verification of resource loading with Contractor Construction Supervision input.
Responsible for coordinating with Contractor Supervision, Field Engineers and Superintendents in performing all project work.
Monitors shift performance for applicable scope and schedule adherence. Communicates with the Outage Control Center on schedule issues or impacts.
Ensures immediate notification of schedule delays on each specific task.
Communicates to other Stakeholders for overlapping scope.
Provides input on project issues such as delays, scope change, contingency plans, etc.
Participates in coordination, scheduling, safety, quality and progress review meetings.
Ensures Construction Supervision has accounted for all materials, tools, and equipment necessary to complete the task and that the materials, tools, and equipment are available.
Coordinates with Contractor Supervisors to ensure any special testing or training requirements are met.
Responsible for overseeing all field operations, including subcontracts and Contractor?s direct hire craft.
Ensures that all construction is in compliance with design specifications, is completed on schedule, adheres to budget, meets accounting requirements and is built to quality standards.
Ensures that contractor maintains an accounting for all materials and equipment issued for construction or installation. This accountability begins at receipt of materials or equipment and continues through installation or use.
Monitors work progress and tracks hold points to assure that they are not bypassed. Ensures notification of Quality Control (QC) or other entities when hold points are ready for signoff.
Minimum Job Requirements
Able to lift minimum 50 lbs.
Ability to climb ladders, scaffolding and platforms in enclosed tight spaces
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Able to work independently
Strong ability to follow procedures
Able to work eight to twelve hour shifts, day or night, six days a week, any day of week
Able to complete all training requirements including dressing in anti contamination clothing.
