SharePoint Architect Project Leadership Associates

As our SharePoint group grows, we look to add a strong Architect to the team. This role will be based out of our office in Sourthfield. This role will be working with the SharePoint Development and Project Management teams to handle complex design and layout with client projects. Utilize your SharePoint experience and your strong design and development experience to provide the best systems and solutions. Below is a list of duties and minimum experience that will make someone successful in this role.
8+ years of IT project execution
Minimum of 3+ years of SharePoint (2010 and 2013 Experience). Minimum of 6+ months of hands-on experience with SharePoint 2013 design and development through deployments including installation
Bachelor?s Degree or equivalent work experience required
Experience with SP 2010 and/or 2013 application implementation for large number of users
Proven success in designing SharePoint application architectures for projects spanning business units, involving multiple resource pools, detailed understanding of SharePoint 2010 and 2013 platform, full SDLC experience.
Multiple-project expertise in large to small farm SharePoint 2010 architecture design, and familiarity with infrastructure deployment. SP 2013 experience is a plus
Develop the conceptual SP 2010 solution architecture. Identify gaps/overlaps between the as-is and to-be SharePoint intranet environment by process/function.
Work with the Project Managers and Sales team members to estimate the work for a given SharePoint project. Work proactively to avoid schedule slips or cost overruns.
Excellent organizational and time management skills. Keen attention to detail, ability to document technical architectures that could be clearly understood and immediately used by developers to construct code and unit test.
Must be able to effectively interact with client representatives, project management, and fellow team members (both inside and outside of the immediate team) in the development of solutions that address the people, process, and technology needs of the organization.
Ensures project scope and objectives are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters.
Ensures that the developed solution successfully passes through assigned quality gates from requirement, through design/architecture, development and deployment.
One of the most important contributions will be balancing time across multiple projects or the most complex architectures and demonstrating an expert ability to design and develop SharePoint prototypes and adhere to functional, technical and documentation standards.
Strong understanding of all aspects of application testing ? unit, component, regression, functional, systems integration and user acceptance testing.
Experience in dealing with offshore development ? cultural familiarity, etc. will be a big plus.
Participates in presales, proposal development, and other sales support activities.
Must have knowledge of web design and aesthetic web concepts.
MCSD a plus.
Good understanding of LDAP/Active Directory.
