BoardVantage is looking for a mid to senior level (contract position) SharePoint expert to help, build and integrate SharePoint with our Next Generation Product. We are looking for a highly motivated, detail oriented, passionate individual who will be excited about working on integrating SharePoint using web services with our Next Generation product. The SharePoint Developer will report to The Director of Engineering.Responsibilities:
Responsible for building application using soap web services for SharePoint
Responsible for Interface points, building service definitions and implementing the integration from given requirements
Required Skills/Experience:
Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical major and 6 years of software development experience
Extensive experience integrating SharePoint with third-party applications and external data
Experience with Enterprise SharePoint 2010 and 2007
Build native SharePoint Web parts that interact with external applications and SharePoint documents/sites
Exposure building, packaging and deploying these web parts
Building applications that integrate with SharePoint using SharePoint web services
Plug-in to SharePoint search to bring external data in the context of SharePoint search results and vice versa
Thorough understanding of notification API exposed by SharePoint objects
Knowledge of different authentication mechanisms like NTLM, Kerberos, Digest etc.
Exposure in Java is desirable
