Job Title: Shipping/Receiving/Warehouse Clerk
Department: Supply Chain
Reports To: Commodity Manager
Summary: This position is responsible for executing the day to day shipping, receiving and inventory control function for Aquion Energy. The position works closely with procurement, quality and manufacturing to insure inbound and outbound materials are properly handled, stored and processed in a timely manner.

Receive and process incoming inventory and service purchase orders, including ERP transactions.
Arrange, package and ship outgoing shipments, including returns to suppliers.
Organize and clean storage areas.
Oversee weekly raw material and counts (cycle counting).
Manage inventory of office, janitorial, and manufacturing consumables.
Submit purchasing requests as needed.
Manage storage of raw material samples.
Manage shipping and receiving, purchasing, and quality physical and digital records.
Ensure compliance with purchasing policies and procedures, ethical practices and adherence to relevant laws and regulations.

Key Competencies required:
Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.?
Must have an understanding of Metric and English standards of measure, and must be able to easily convert between Metric and English standards of measure.
Must have strong communications skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
Must be accurate and detail oriented.
Licensed fork lift operator or willing to get operators license
ERP experience helpful. Demonstrated experience with integrated Purchasing Systems (PLEX, Oracle, SAP, etc.); and demonstrated computer skills with Microsoft Office applications.
Self-driven, results-oriented, and motivated to work effectively with minimal direct supervision
Strong written/oral communication skills
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or equivalent; or, 2-year degree in a business technical or related area with 1 year direct experience; or, 2-5 years with direct experience in a materials function.
Previous shipping/receiving or warehouse experience is desired.
Good understanding of warehouse operational concepts.

Ability to work with others/function as part of a team and maintains good working relationships with other departments; customer oriented.
Ability to function well under pressure.
Willingness and ability to assume increased responsibility.
Flexible to adapt to changing requirements and priorities.
Action/results oriented; self-starter.
Language Skills: Must be fluent in English and be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
Certificates/Licenses: Licensed to operate fork lift is a plus
Ability to perform physical tasks including sitting for extended period of time, standing and walking.
Requires good listening, writing and communications skills.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds
