A Signal Operations Assistant (Night) is responsible for supporting the Signal Operations staff during the night hours. This position requires an individual who is customer service oriented, able to juggle and prioritize multiple support phone calls.
This is a part-time position - 3 days / week. From Tuesday to Thursday, from midnight to 8 am PST.
? Provide phone support and scheduling support for night-time Signal Operation.
? The Signal Assistant will be Signal?s front-line contact for the Signal hotlines.
? They will manage calls from clients, resolve basic questions and requests, or escalate to Signal Event Operators as needed.
? Triage during event and platform issues.
? Manage & distribute support tickets and email/scheduling requests that come in overnight.
? Schedule new event requests to encoding and signal input resources.
? Keep Signal Event Operators up to date on any changes made to upcoming events.
? Maintain an in-depth knowledge of signal services and help clients with requesting services through the Webcast Center platform.
? 2+ years? experience in a phone support and/or customer service role.
? Experience with:
Call center support
Client-facing customer service
Windows 7 operating system
Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, and Word)
? Scheduling resources and staff
? Experience working night hours
? Experience with digital audio/video and/or broadcasting technology is desirable
? Troubleshooting skills and solid understanding of basic computer concepts.
? A detail-oriented, organized thinker, able to work in time-sensitive conditions.
? Solid communication skills (both verbal and written), multi-tasking and prioritization skills, and the ability to act decisively in a rapidly changing environment.
? Ability to interact calmly and efficiently in time-sensitive situations.
? Ability to maintain a professional and polite demeanor on client and internal-facing calls.
