Site Manager Storeroom Solutions
Responsibilities of Position:
Site Managers undertake overall responsibility for daily operations of the MRO material storeroom. Site Managers must actively manage MRO logistics from monitoring inventory levels, purchasing and receiving material, through parts storage and distribution. Successful Site Managers must develop and maintain customer relationships and keep an open line of communication to all of the Companys stakeholders. The main challenge of this position is to maintain a high level of service, while conducting all aspects of MRO purchasing in a cost-effective manner. Strong communication with the clients employees and Company management team is paramount.
Other responsibilities include (a) determine proper inventory methods; (b) analyze spending and reduce unit costs, and (c) train and develop personnel (d) perform whatever other tasks are required to satisfy the client. Good problem solving, organizational, and assertiveness skills, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to function in a demanding, fast-paced environment are all necessary for success in this role. A client first attitude is essential.

Required Attributes and Job Skills:
Experience in Pharmaceutical, Food Industry or Semi-Conductor GMP/GXP procedures.
Must demonstrate understanding of regulatory compliance
Strong experience in MRO inventory management
Strong familiarity with multiple MRO commodities
Experience in sourcing and buying indirect materials
Strong orientation toward satisfying clients regardless of effort required
Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multi-task
Project management experience is a Plus
Strong goal attainment orientation with a team focus
Strong analytical and negotiation skills
Self-starter and self-motivated; comfortable leading an autonomous storeroom team
Additional Requirements:
Candidates with the following skills and knowledge will be given preference:
Must speak, read and write English
High School degree or GED is required. A 4-year college degree is preferred; certification in inventory management or purchasing a plus
Mechanical aptitude
MRP system experience
Experience in sourcing and buying indirect materials, helpful
Strong aptitude with Microsoft Office Tools; knowledge of MS Access a Plus
Proficiency in the use of personal computers, email software; Internet browser (i.e., Internet Explorer), printers, copiers, and facsimile machines
Three - five years supervisory or management experience
Experience in developing and managing suppliers.
