Job Description:That's a cool job! I want it! This position will be responsible for prospecting, lead generation and selling Splunk's award winning software. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of success selling software or services and in building beneficial, lasting relationships with customers. This position will be selling Splunk's software and services and supporting the field sales team. Responsibilities:I want to and can do that!
Outbound prospecting/Lead generation by targeting key contracts and SLED customers
Support Federal VAR Partners and Systems Integrators
Experience selling Enterprise software to State and Local Government
Qualify inbound and outbound leads
Schedule product demos for qualified customers
Understanding of client's needs, and ability to communicate solution values of products and services
Meet/exceed assigned revenue and MBO goals
Follow Splunk Sales Operations process for quoting, booking orders, etc.
Use Salesforce.com for lead tracking, opportunity management
Must be located in DC area
Understanding of Public Sector market
