Description:
Plateau is seeking an Enterprise Sales Account Executive to hunt new sales leads from companies exceeding 10,000 employees in a designated geographic territory. The ideal candidate will have the ability to actively and enthusiastically create new partnerships for Plateaus many products and services. Candidates will focus on the growth of new markets and industries to strengthen the Enterprise sector. This position reports to The Vice President, Sales, North America. We have openings in several territories including the West Coast and Southeast.
Job Duties include:
o Developing and managing relationships within our Commercial Business market segment (1,000-10,000 employee based companies)
o Managing complex sales-cycles and presenting to C-level executives the value of our enterprise suite of applications
o Forecast sales activity and revenue achievement, while creating satisfied and referenceable customers
o Demonstrating our product via the Web and in-person
Required Qualifications:
o 5 + years of quota carrying of sales and account management experience with software and service-based solutions above 100,000
o Consistent achievement of success against a minimum 1MM quota
o Track record of over-achieving quota (top 10-20 of company) in past positions
o At least 2 years experience selling into senior HR/training officers.
o Strong and demonstrated written and verbal communications skills
o Experience managing and closing complex sales-cycles
o Ability to work in a fast pace, team environment
o Strong client, peer and manager references
o Strong computer skills, including CRM, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
o Previous Sales Methodology training preferred
o Software as a Service (SaaS) sales experience preferred
o Bachelors degree preferred or, equivalent experience required.
