Smart Cell Gateway Instructor Ruckus Wireless
Ruckus seeks a true Wi-Fi expert with a passion to become a technical instructor. Candidate will enjoy sharing their technical mastery and enabling other Wi-Fi engineers to be successful. Will possess strong communication and presentation skills and a ?can-do? attitude. You bring your Wi-Fi expertise and passion, and some presentation experience, and we?ll develop you into world-class instructor and technical training developer. The successful candidate will possess some combination of these requirements, especially Core requirements as outlined below. This candidate will focus extensively on mastering and delivering training related to Ruckus Smart Cell Gateway product.
Wi-Fi technical requirements include:
Expert knowledge of wireless networking fundamentals and 802.11 RF technology
Proven and demonstrable analytical skills in the area of wireless and/or wired networking technologies
Extensive experience with design and operations of enterprise-class wireless networks, including multiple geographies and multiple buildings per location
Experience with major wireless designs
Strong knowledge and experience of wireless protocols including all flavors of 802.11, plus supporting protocols including DHCP, RADIUS / 802.1x, relevant DHCP & RADIUS attributes, PKI, and EAP
Basic familiarity with traditional enterprise IP routing and switching
5 years of experience with wireless design and support real-world experience with the design and operational challenges of building a low-interference, reliable wireless networks
Knowledge of Wi-Fi survey, diagnostic, and troubleshooting software. Proficient in tools such as spectrum analyzers, WireShark, AirMagnet tools
Excellent oral and written communication skills with a proven ability to communicate to both technical and non-technical individuals
Able to function as an internal consultant to Director of Training, others.
Thorough technical understanding of data networking across both wired and Wi-Fi environments.

GGSN/PGW, SGSN, HLR/HSS, TWAG, AAA
From the Carrier world:
Demonstrated understanding of service provider data networks, with a preference given to applicants with deep knowledge of Mobile Network Operator (MNO) environments
UTRAN and eUTRAN architectures, components and interfaces
3G Core and EPC architectures, components and interfaces
OSS/BSS services, functions and protocols
Familiarity with Multiple System Operator (MSO) environments
Must be passionate, creative, driven, responsible, flexible.
Ability to travel as much as 50% of time globally.
Minimum of 5 years practical experience in data networking
Helpful to possess CWNA certification or display clearly equivalent technical proficiency through prior positions and accomplishments.
Helpful to possess professional level data networking certification, e.g. CCNP, JNCIP, etc., with preference given to applicants with Expert level certification.
Previous work experience that required periodic presenting of technical information in a one-to-many delivery. Examples would include: technical trainer, systems engineer, technical marketing engineer, etc.
