Eloqua is looking for a passionate and talented Technical Consultant, Professional Services to join our team in San Francisco CA, Vienna VA, Austin TX or Toronto, Canada.
The Technical Consultant, Professional Services provides technical and product expertise on implementation projects. The individual gathers requirements and recommends best practice solutions. The role includes configuring software, developing customizations and complex integrations for clients. The Technical Consultant works hand-in hand with the Implementation Consultants. May act as Product Lead on projects and develop documentation or deliver workshops. The Technical Consultant works independently with clients of all sizes and may provide some pre-sales support. Eloqua projects require a high level of product proficiency.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Solution design and development through interactions with clients by understanding their IT landscape, global business marketing and sales processes, and marketing automation requirements
- Direct client to a "best practice" path when implementing the product
- Providing hands-on solution development and custom platform configuration
- Providing sales support and technical guidance for other team members
- Managing multiple projects, with competing tight timelines and distributed resources
- Developing client facing material and internal process improvements
- Work with the other PS team members to mitigate risk and quickly resolve or elevate issues
- Takes on other tasks and assignments as needed/assigned
- Ensure all PS engagements are delivered within the allotted time with integrity and to the highest degree of client satisfaction
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 4 to 6 years work experience in: SaaS implementations, CRM Implementation/Administration, Software Implementation, IT consulting
- 4 year university degree in Computers, Business, Marketing
Nice to have skills:
- SFDC and/or other CRM platforms (integration, administration, etc.)
- API Configuration and development
- HTML
- JAVA
- Reading, writing XML or creating complex queries
- MS .NET
- Data base configuration and administration
- Project communication and organizational processes
