LogRhythm is seeking an experienced SME Sales Manager for the Southeast Region. The SME Sales Manager position involves prospecting into small to medium-sized companies, identifying and qualifying opportunities, effectively managing the sales process, and closing business to meet revenue objectives for the assigned territory. A technical sales background in Network and Network Security solutions is required.
Minimum 8 years sales experience
Successful track record in IT and Network Security sales
Sold within the Small, Medium Enterprise space to companies under $250 million in revenue
Demonstrated ability to qualify opportunities and close business
Strong presentation skills with on-line presentations and demonstrations
Excellent communication skills (written/verbal) ? emails, RFPs, white papers, and reporting.
Experience with CRM applications ? preferably Salesforce.com
Extensive negotiation skills and ability to read and understand contracts
Cold calling and prospecting
Giving presentations and demos
Managing pipeline and business in Salesforce.com
Provide price quotations, suggest products to meet customer requirements for their projects, and insure their orders are properly placed.
Up to 50% travel
Manage existing customer expectations while expanding reach and depth into assigned territory
RFP completion and submission
Provide customer service
Participates in industry events by attending trade shows/association programs
