General Responsibilities: responsible to deliver annual financial plan commitments; generate significant growth via market and product line expansion through 2017; create unique ?channels? in on-line and direct TV sales; and, build consumer awareness.
Examples of Typical Activities:
Lead the Snugli business team which largely consists of shared resources to defined financial and brand goals
Strategic leadership of Snugli business: consumer target; brand positioning; product strategy as part of global three year company plan; trade and channel strategies within each market; market strategy; trade and consumer support plans
Acts as a key leader with a wide variety of internal and external partners to include Executive staff, product management, sales and agencies
Create alternate on-line and direct selling platforms
Direct account presentations
Packaging, media, social marketing and all other aspects of consumer activity
Utilizing existing company systems for innovation; forecasting; planning; and, measurement
Required Experience: Bachelor?s Degree; MBA a plus; a minimum of 5-7 years of relevent experience.
Required Technical Competencies
Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills
Demonstrated competency in the principles of Marketing in the consumer packaged or durables goods industry
Market Research, Market Analysis and Segmentation
at-shelf consumer communication (Packaging and POP)
Target Market Identification
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail required for review/or development of trend and data analysis
Strong communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills
Familiarity with working in a matrix organization
