We are looking for experienced security professionals for our 24x7 managed security operations center to work as SOC Analyst who will be responsible for handling first level escalated calls from SOC engineers to analyze and response to network security events and should also have experience in Oracle Database Administration.Experience:
Candidates should have at least two years of experience working in SOC/NOC environment. Additional experience in network security implementation and management or experience in vulnerability analysis and management and Oracle Database Administration and Design
Technical skills:
Hands on knowledge of implementation and management of Intrusion detection systems (IDS/IPS), Firewall, VPN, and other security products
Experience on
Security information management (SIM) tools,
Incident Response
System hardening
Vulnerability Assessment
Should have expertise on TCP/IP network traffic and event log analysis,
Oracle Database Administration and Design
Educational qualification:
BE/MCA or University degree
Certifications required:
CCNA,
Certification Desired:
CCSP, Oracle Certified Associate
Responsibilities:
Recognizes successful intrusions and compromises through review and analysis of relevant event detail information.
Launch and track investigations to resolution. Recognizes attacks based on their signatures. Differentiates false positives from true intrusion attempts.
Alerts clients of intrusions and potential intrusions and compromises to their network infrastructure.
Remotely monitor and manage client network security devices.
Actively investigates the latest in security vulnerabilities, advisories, incidents, and penetration techniques and notifies clients when appropriate.
Performs tasks as identified in a daily task list.
Ability to understand and influence high level technical design of Database components
Database maintenance, patching and DR.
He would responsible for Database performance tuning of the client database
He would be responsible for database archiving and database event management.
Additional requirement
Need to work 24/7 operations.
May require traveling to onsite.
Worked for major software or networking Product Company.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong Interpersonal skills.
Ability to work with minimal levels of supervision or oversight.
