The Social Business Consultant drives customer adoption and business value for Actiance Socialite customers. Key to this role is ensuring that customers are on-boarded, deployed and trained quickly and able immediately recognize the benefits of leveraging Social Media as a business tool. Working hand-in-hand with a broad set of Actiance resources, the SBC manages against a detailed project plan to ensure that both the customer and Actiance accomplish tasks leading to a successful enterprise deployment. Candidates for the position must have expertise in business application deployment cycles, strong project management experience and possess hands-on, expert-level knowledge of Social Media applications and features. The SBC will be responsible for driving adoption and license utilization across the customer base. He/she will build strong relationships with multiple contacts within the assigned customers including executive roles. He/she will serve as an escalation point for issues that impacts the customer's success. He/she will be required to maintain strong cross functional working relationships with personnel in all areas of Actiance to ensure customer success.
Responsibilities:
Work directly with customers to help them successfully on-board Actiance products and extend their usage of Actiance products throughout their organization.
Assist customers with their deployment of Actiance products, including developing and sharing best practice, ROI and business justification reports in order to help customers internally sell broader rollouts.
Developing and maintaining deep expertise of Actiance and related products and services.
Nurturing close relationships throughout customer organizations through proactive communication.
Developing and executing rollout plans, and tracking and reporting on key metrics for customer adoption and success.
Documenting findings and feedback from customer interactions and communicating them to various teams inside Actiance. Advocate internally for customer needs within Actiance and drive process changes to make Actiance products more broadly deployed.
Promoting customer needs, maintaining sensitivity to business performance and a high degree of situational awareness for all accounts.
Required Skills/Experience:
A bachelor's degree.
Solid experience in business consulting, technical account management, sales engineering, customer success or technical marketing.
Experience with SaaS technology is strongly preferred.
Professional social networking experience.
Proven customer-facing skills.
Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills, including the ability to figure out how things should work, and to identify patterns and trends.
A strong entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for excellence.
Excellent relationship building and management abilities.
Solid oral and written communication skills.
A positive, self-starter attitude and desire to exceed expectations at every opportunity.
Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and an absolute focus on quality of work.
Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
