What We?re Looking For
The Social Media and Outreach Coordinator will work with a specific 2U program to:
Develop the strategy for the program?s social media assets
Help execute a comprehensive communications plan that drives audience awareness and engagement across marketing channels (including, but not limited to blogs, Facebook, Twitter, and message boards)
Manage online relationship and link building efforts to drive SEO results and organic leads
Report weekly and monthly KPI?s; Proficiency with Microsoft Excel a plus
Project manage content development and creation of marketing assets in conjunction with Directors of Marketing; Help to streamline overall communication across department stakeholders
Identify industry trends and tools to support marketing campaigns and objectives
Manage interns and 3rd party vendors as needed
The selected candidate will have a bachelor's degree and experience with community management, social media marketing and/or SEO. S/he should be familiar with marketing and web best practices and have strong project management skills. S/he must be able to thrive on constant change, be self-motivated, personable, and goal-oriented. Must love startups, food, and karaoke.
Things That Should Be in Your Background
Bachelor's degree required
2-3 years of experience with community management, social media or SEO preferred
Ability to make intuitive and thoughtful decisions
Socially enabled: Experience with Facebook Pages, Twitter, YouTube, Flickr
Digitally enabled: Experience and/or familiarity with Wordpress, Google Analytics/Website Optimizer/Webmaster Tools, Salesforce or CRM experience a plus
Strong understanding of the fundamentals of SEO
Expertise with Excel and PowerPoint
