Social Media & Content Marketing Manager Bloomfire
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED Bloomfire is looking for a creative individual to lead social media and content marketing. In this role, you will develop and implement content marketing campaigns, focusing on creating active social communities, influencing online conversations, driving engagement, listening to and responding to community feedback, building relationships with influential parties, and analyzing and reporting on optimization efforts.
You must be experienced with the major social networks (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube) and engagement-driving content production including blogging and videos. You will be a social butterfly amongst the enterprise collaboration and social business communities, contributing valuable, creative content and making connections with industry luminaries, influential bloggers, customers, partners and Enterprise 2.0 enthusiasts.
Our ideal candidate is highly organized, a self-starter, an excellent verbal and written communicator, and a passionate expert in social business with a desire to stay ahead of the curve in social media platforms and trends.
-- Develop a social media and content strategy designed to grow brand awareness and foster engagement
-- Manage Bloomfire's presence across all social media platforms including Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Google+, Pinterest, Instagram and YouTube
-- Create and manage a content calendar for Bloomfire's blog, eBooks, whitepapers, surveys, polls, and infographics
-- Write, post, and promote content that encourages customer participation and community engagement
-- Facilitate and lead cross-functional groups to develop and optimize content that meets deadlines
-- Leverage social media and website platforms to launch crowd sourced content campaigns and contests
-- Monitor Bloomfire's social presence with social listening, scheduling and analytics tools
-- Leverage tools like Google Analytics to track and report on click-throughs and traffic
-- Follow and engage with key influencers, industry trends, and competitors in the social business space
Qualifications and Experience
-- BA or BS with focus on Advertising, Marketing or Communications
-- 5-7 years experience in social media or content marketing in the high-tech industry
-- Outstanding and outrageously creative editorial, verbal, and written communications skills
-- Demonstrated understanding of existing and emerging social media platforms
-- Experience utilizing social listening, scheduling and analytics tools like TweetDeck and HootSuite
-- Proven track record creating and executing social media and content marketing strategies that drive online engagement
-- Leverage data-driven research/analysis to drive strategic direction, best practices, and program improvements
-- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects with fast turnaround times
