JOB SUMMARY
The Social Media Coordinator performs project management and marketing duties as they relate specifically to promoting thought leadership around the products and services that support the contact center area of Nexidia?s business model. This position may also assist with marketing related to the overall corporate message of Nexidia.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Work directly with Director of Marketing to manage and develop editorial calendar for all blogs, podcasts, white papers and other social media and thought leadership outreach pieces.
Work with Marketing Communications Copywriter to coordinate with Nexidia executives, product managers and other personnel to manage content flow.
Be responsible for content deadlines and ensure workflow process stays on track to hit targeted delivery dates.
Coordinate content production including formatting, editing and posting across various media and content types.
Assist with Nexidia.com website build, maintenance and integration of pieces including main site, blog and forums.
Coordinate with analysts when needed to collect written or video content.
Research and secure opportunities with vendors, analysts and other third parties for cross promotion and content placement.
Ensure formatting is correct and adheres to Nexidia standards on both internal and external postings.
Work to track Nexidia mentions on 3rd party sites and cross-post and reference as appropriate.
Ensure internal stakeholders and sales team is informed of marketing activities and has access to content for easy sharing with current and potential customers.
Maintain internal library of all new content.
Understands and adheres to Nexidia compliance standards as they appear in the Employee Handbook, Corporate Compliance Policies, Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policy.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES
Help coordinate content needed to fulfill PR requests.
Work with product marketing to coordinate new releases and make sure appropriate steps are taken to fulfill analyst briefings and other steps needed for that process.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Superior project and time management skills
Ability to garner support from executive team in order to procure necessary deliverables to keep projects on schedule
Strong working knowledge of common social media platforms including blogs, forums, podcasts, web, etc in order to post, format and maintain content
Knowledge of best practices in social media
Knowledge of web systems including CMS, Google Analytics, Google Adwords and SEO
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Outlook as well as WordPress, iTunes and basic video editing software
Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with outside vendors to ensure optimal results and budgets
Ability to create or direct superior graphics and maintain company brand standards
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Ability to interface with senior level executives
Strong self-starting abilities and ability to tackle projects with minimal up-front direction
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Analytical thinking and problem solving skills along with attention to detail
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor?s degree required. Degree in Marketing or Communications preferred.
3-5 years in progressive social media, project management marketing roles.
Experience with business to business company.
