Job Description
Infusionsoft is seeking a creative and results-oriented, proven social media leader to join our exciting and fast-paced team. We are looking for a sharp social mind to define, own, and execute the Infusionsoft social business strategy to reach our customers, prospects and influencers in social channels. This role reports to the VP Communications and will drive the development and execution of the social marketing strategy for Infusionsoft. We seek an experienced professional who has developed transformative social strategies for businesses. The Social Media Director is responsible for translating the overall Infusionsoft business agenda into innovative social media strategies, plans, and content that connects the market with Infusionsoft's brand and products. This position will be the social evangelist for Infusionsoft educating, enabling and energizing the company around the changing landscape of social technologies and what it could mean for the future of Infusionsoft.
Responsibilities Include:
Provide leadership, roadmap definition and governance for social inside Infusionsoft by developing a proactive business program that focuses on generating revenue through social channels.
Bring together internal stakeholders and define and develop scalable programs that utilize social initiatives for marketing, support and product innovation
Work with product and engineering teams to inform plans and roadmaps, and identify, coordinate, and communicate best practices amongst cross-functional teams around the globe.
Perform industry and competitive analysis to highlight underlying category trends and competitive dynamics surrounding social. Understand customer needs and identify unmet (or emerging) needs across customer service, sales, product and marketing that can be solved using social channels.
Communicate strategic priorities and findings to senior management.
Manage the growing Social Media team, and cross-functional social ambassador teams.
Build and execute internal social media education program
Work with organizational leadership and a cross-functional team to develop and implement an effective, unique and scalable social media strategy
Demonstrate success in large scale social media experiences devised to increase brand awareness, brand differentiation, loyalty and ultimately advocacy
Act as a subject matter expert and effectively communicate/advocate the importance of social media throughout the organization
Minimum Qualifications:
8 years of experience in marketing/media leading and executing social media, PR and/or marketing strategies for a leading brand.
3+ years's proven success specifically managing social media programs
BA/BS degree
Ideal Qualifications:
A fundamental understanding of what works in social and what doesn't
Proven success across large multi-channel social media campaigns
Proven success in growing user base and brand engagement exponentially
Demonstrated understanding of how social media fits into overall online and business marketing strategies
Demonstrated success building social media programs, cross-functionally
Executive-level written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to aggressively create innovative programs that generate results, and the ability to objectively measure those results.
Editorial, creative, or branding experience/skills
Superior analytical skills and the ability to use data to measure results combined with a creative mind.
Experience developing productive cross-functional relationships in a fast-paced, variable environment.
Experience in software, tech or small business market
High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
People management experience and experience leading cross-functional teams
Entrepreneurial spirit/ability to try different things with minimal direction
A natural born "connector" both internally and externally.
Superior communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
Ability to understand customer needs and identify unmet (or emerging) needs that can be solved using social networking.
Understand technology trends as it relates to Social.
A true passion for social media that is inherent in day-to-day interactions and activities
