Summary
The social media intern provides support to the social media team on digital engagement and brand awareness building programs, targeting both members and prospects. This is an unpaid internship and you must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program with a concentration in communications, marketing or English and receive school credit.
Responsibilities:
Support the social team on all projects for Zipcar?s many social media channels
Write daily teases for social media + generate social media weekly calendar
Monitor Facebook and Twitter for complaints, questions and engagement opportunities
Monitor Twitter and Facebook for engagement opportunities and target influencers
Research social media trends and innovations
Report on Zipcar?s social media efforts, ie follower growth and level of engagement
Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program with a concentration in communications, marketing or English
Knowledge of and experience using social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn & YouTube)
