THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED We are looking for a social media manager to bring our social media strategy to life on a day-to-day basis, interacting with our customers on our social channels, helping them make the most of our product and changing the way they eat at home. This person will:
Help monitor and respond to mentions of the company on social media
Help communicate our voice to a wide audience, sharing our love for food, cooking, cool ingredients, and new cooking techniques
Develop strategies to organically increase the size and engagement of communities on all our platforms
Discover and curate the incredible content shared by our audience
Develop, edit, and maintain the social media editorial calendar
Work on reporting systems to measure community, engagement, and impact
We?re looking for a smart, hard-working person who is looking to get in on the ground floor of a rapidly growing business. The below should only be considered a rough guideline?above all, we are looking for somebody who is excited about our product and works well with our team.
Our stack: Rails, HAML, Bootstrap, SASS, JQuery, AJAX, Git, Heroku, PostgreSQL
Facility and experience with social media tools?Facebook, Twitter, Instagram. Experience with Google +, Pinterest, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Tastespotting a plus.
Existing vibrant social media profiles on all the major networks?please link to them in your cover letter
Passion for experimenting with new networks as they appear and innate desire to stay up to date on the latest tools our customers are using.
Basic knowledge of food and cooking and motivation to learn all about our product and ingredients
Willingness to delve into customer service via social media, fielding questions and moderating conversations
