Social Media Manager Redfin

We are seeking an experienced Social Media Manager to lead the growth of Redfin?s social channels, including Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Redfin Forums, and others. Redfin?s Social Media Manager will be the architect of a high growth strategy to build on a small but passionate group of Redfin and real estate enthusiasts.
The ideal candidate has 5 to 7 years of experience driving social media strategy and engagement for a well-established or emerging company or brand. You should have a deep understanding of social media platforms and how to execute programs that drive business results and are aligned with brand objectives and goals. You know what it takes to not only increase followers, but to keep them engaged. Redfin?s social strategy will branch well beyond its historic focus on insider knowledge for real estate junkies to engaging a broader group of consumers, especially women, who are interested in the lifestyle aspect of real estate.
Required Experience
A minimum of five years social media experience.
Multiple successful campaigns with proven results.
Experience building consumer brands and creating engagement with audiences that have diverse needs.
Bachelor's degree.
Required Skills
Knowledge of social media best practices ranging from measurement, to etiquette to content curation.
Ability to think at a strategic level, as well as execute details.
Strong project and people management skills, with demonstrated ability to define functional requirements and set clear creative direction.
Basic understanding of the technical aspects of social media applications, platforms and websites.
Understanding of brand reputation, messaging and corporate communications.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
Ability to use Photoshop, video cameras and use video editing software is a plus.
Responsibilities
Create and manage ongoing social media programs on Twitter, Facebook, Google Plus, Pinterest, YouTube, Redfin Forums, etc.
Manage Redfin?s Community Ambassador Program (working with real estate operations employees based in Redfin?s local markets who are ongoing contributors to our social content).
Take charge of Redfin?s online forums community, starting conversations and working with the customer service team to address client inquiries and concerns.
Increase engagement through the development of creative content (posts/videos/contests), responding to the community, and sharing interesting news
Liaise with marketing and product teams, internal stakeholders and external influencers to develop new compelling content for audiences
Define goals and continuously measure the impact of social and community strategies; leverage data to fine-tune and reinvent programs to deliver maximum result.
Identify and manage online red-flags and areas of concern.
Supervise the Redfin Community Manager who will moderate our community properties, build relationships with top contributors and articulate strategies for community outreach.
