Nakina?s Product Support team is responsible for supporting the wide range of Nakina Systems Software products with both end customers and our channel partners. These solutions are being deployed in some of the world?s most innovative service providers and cover all networking technologies. As a Software and Network Support Specialist your responsibilities will include:
Learning about the full range of Nakina solutions and the complex customer IT networks on which those solutions are deployed.
Using your combined knowledge of Nakina?s software solutions and network deployments to respond to end customer queries and concerns.
Driving the triage of issues reported and working closely with the development organization to reproduce and solve those problems.
Installation of Nakina?s array of products, sometimes on site at the customer facility.
Delivering training courses directly to end customers and partners.
Developing tools and documenting procedures to ensure that customers are thrilled with Nakina?s solutions.
Requirements:
Experience troubleshooting networking and/or software solutions.
Knowledge and hands on skills in three or more of the following technologies: Unix, Linux, routing, switching, firewalls, SSH, single sign-on, Triple-A, LAN, WAN, Oracle DB, Oracle Weblogic, J2EE n-tiered architectures, API programming, scripting.
Strong (written and verbal) communication and negotiation skills.
An inquisitive mind, with demonstrable problem-solving abilities.
Excellent interpersonal & team skills.
An undergraduate degree in Computer Science or Engineering is preferable, although equivalent experience will be considered.
