This Software Applications Deployment Engineer position will report to Software Deployment manager and assist in the installation and administration of SAAS delivered software within a data center environment.Key responsibilities
Be one of the point of contacts for software updates or new deployments
Coordinate maintenance activities with the hardware team to keep the layered products on supported patch levels
Work with Engineering Teams to ensure their equipment needs are met
Utilize the trouble ticketing system to track SAAS production issues
Establish specifications for equipment acceptance hand-off
Participate in Deployment project tasks as needed
Ability to work 'on call' outside of normal business hours
Qualifications
Experience with the Windows Operating Systems (required)
Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience supporting Windows Server 2003 and higher, IIS, and SQL Server
Experience administering a SQL Server 2005 and higher
Experience with F5 configuration and setup
Experience with requesting and installing Certificates in Windows and Linux systems
Proven ability to troubleshoot and solve problems in a production support environment.
Demonstrated facilitation, communication and presentation skills
Superior user documentation and training skills
Ability to navigate and interact with all levels of personnel within an IT organization from technical to high level executive management.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
Experience Recommended
Windows Server background - Certifications preferred
Windows SQL Server - Certifications preferred
Software installation and troubleshooting
Education Requirements
Bachelor?s Degree preferred but not required.
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States to be eligible for consideration, visa sponsorship not available. Candidates with at least 18 months left on your EAD may be considered.
