If you are a Software Design Engineer in Test (SDET) who shares our philosophy, we would like to hear from you! In this key position, you will support our Engineering efforts and test features and functionality
for the ExtraHop Application Delivery Assurance system. The innovative ExtraHop system is an
intelligent, application-aware network device that solves some of the toughest challenges in network and
application management and helps to keep applications running at network speed. We are looking for an
SDET with great ideas and an enthusiasm for elegant code as we continue to expand the functionality of
the current ExtraHop products as well as develop other exciting new projects.
Responsibilities
? Test features and functionality for ExtraHop products.
? Optimize product performance.
? Provide design feedback and ensure the systems perform, scale, and ultimately meet or exceed
our customers' needs.
? Evaluate the earliest phases of new feature development, and provide development team with
"big picture" feedback on their designs.
? Write automated tests and develop automation infrastructure.
? Write test drivers.
? Simulate high speed network traffic with a variety of protocols.
? Set up testing environment.
Qualifications
? Strong engineering skills with hands-on coding experience.
? Ability to effectively analyze and work with complex architectures.
? Self-motivated and desire to work in collaboration with the development staff.
? Four-year degree or equivalent in a related discipline (such as computer science, engineering, or
information technology).
? Five years of professional software-testing experience.
