Software Developer 1 LitePoint

Are you the best software developer in your team? Are you running in circles around your peers and colleagues? Do you find the bugs that others fail to kill? Do you get more functionality out of every line of code than anyone else?
If yes, you are wanted in our newly-established software application team. The team is divided between Sunnyvale, California and Taipei, Taiwan. Our job is to deliver advanced products for integrating Litepoint products with our customers? systems. We do this by delivering products based on our internal Software framework. Both the products and the framework are the responsibility of our team.

We target Windows, Linux and OS X, and we develop our software in C and C++.

Some of the technologies that we are working with are C++, Qt, Java, Embedded Java Script and Python. We interface with surrounding systems through TCP/IP, SCPI, NI-VISA, GPIB, SQL, MongoDB and an occasional CSV file.

You are expected to be very smart, self-starting and self-motivated. You will have great opportunities to learn from your peers, and to grow your competence together with the team. Litepoint will learn from you, and you will learn from Litepoint.

The position will require limited travel to Litepoint?s offices in Asia.

What we really need from you:

Passion
C or C++ skills
Know-how in one or more Source-code control systems (Subversion, Perforce or similar)
